Training

In order to fulfil its objectives of development and quality, the Theodora Foundation has developed a complete training program that has the support of the "La Paz" University School of Nursing in Madrid. There, Clown Doctors are educated and trained through a two-part program, made up of initial training and ongoing training.

The initial training program aims to impart knowledge that will be indispensable in order for the Clown Doctors work to be properly carried out within the hospitals. This initial training is completed throughout the artists activity in the Fundación by ongoing training. Thus, teams made up of Clown Doctors, trainers and the Fundación's management meet regularly in order to deal with different matters related to the artists, nurses and doctors.
