How to become a Clown Doctor (Doctor Sonrisa)

Artists who are interested in following the training program in order to become a Clown Doctor with the Fundación Theodora must provide:

* 1 curriculum vitae
* 2 photographs
* 1 application letter
* 2 references
* 1 candidate questionnaire (supplied by the Fundación)

At the time of the application, the candidates MUST HAVE WORKED DONE professionally in one of the following areas:
- as an artist and/or
- with children.

After studying the dossier of each candidate, the Fundación makes an initial selection. The candidates who pass this first stage are invited to attend:
- a more in-depth interview
- a presentation of the activities of the Fundación
- a senior Clown Doctor's visit to a ward, as an observer.

The necessities of training depend on the Fundación's expansion plans in different hospitals all over the country.
