Further Clown Doctor Training

The initial training given is completed on an ongoing basis throughout the activity of the artists in the fundación. The Clown Doctors' participation at these sessions is compulsory. In this way, the concept of ongoing training allows each member of the team to develop and consolidate their knowledge and skills in specific areas

The management of the Fundación links, to a great extent, the Clown Doctors to the preparation of the annual training program so that this matches, as closely as possible, their real and particular needs. A group of medical and artistic advisors, internationally recognised for their professionalism, also participate in the preparation.

The program is split into two annual sessions:

One seminar in spring and another in autumn. These seminars allow each Clown Doctor to meet all the members of his or her team and allow them to work for four days on a chosen theme. This theme is approached from different perspectives of the question (artistic management, medical and psychological knowledge, etc).
