4. Job Application
Any artist interested in attending the Theodora Foundation’s Clown Doctor training programme has to provide:
- 1 curriculum vitae
- 2 photos
- 2 letters of reference
- 1 detailed application form (produced by the Theodora Foundation)
The candidate has to have professional experience;
- in the artistic world and/or
- linked to children
After having studied the file with the above documents, the Foundation carries out a first selection.
The candidates chosen from this first stage are the individually met for;
- an in-depth interview
- an introduction to the Foundation’s activities
- to take part in a senior Clown Doctor’s visit
Following this interview, the candidate will be appeased according to:
- sensitivity
- emotional maturity
- sense of listening
- empathy
- motivation
- artistic capacities
- knowledge of the hospital environment
- professional carrier
- availabiltyto work for the Theodora Foundation
After this evaluation the selected candidates will be able to participate in the training programme of the Theodora Foundation.
